Why Law

Andrew became a lawyer because people face challenging legal matters every day and deserve someone with the knowledge and experience to help them work through those issues. The path into law wasn’t accidental — it built from undergraduate work in criminal justice, into paralegal and legal-assistant work through the late 1990s and early 2000s, into law school, and into solo practice in 2006.

That progression matters because by the time Andrew became an attorney, he had already spent years working inside law firms, handling civil suits, drafting motions, interviewing clients, and watching cases move through the system. He had also worked as a Certified Legal Intern with the Office of the Broward County Public Defender, participating in trials, hearings, and depositions before he had a bar number of his own. The law was a long apprenticeship before it became a license.

Why Solo Practice

A solo practice offers a kind of representation a larger firm structurally can’t. Clients deal directly with the attorney handling their case — not a rotating team of associates, not a paralegal acting as gatekeeper, and not an attorney they meet once and never see again. The relationship is direct and one-on-one.

That structure suits the kinds of matters the firm handles. Family law, immigration, civil disputes, real estate, and unemployment appeals are all areas where the facts of the case matter enormously, where the client’s story has to come through accurately, and where a small detail can change the outcome. Hands-on involvement at every step is the way Andrew prefers to work.

Why the Same Office for Nearly 20 Years

The firm has occupied the same office in Pembroke Pines since opening in December 2006. Clients who hired Andrew for one matter often return for unrelated matters years later — a divorce client comes back for an immigration question, a real estate client comes back when a family member needs a deed prepared. The repeat work is a reflection of the relationships rather than the marketing.

The Pembroke Pines location is also convenient. From the office at 9050 Pines Blvd., Andrew can reach courthouses, USCIS field offices, and clients across Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach Counties without the access friction that comes with a downtown location.

How Andrew Works With Clients

The firm operates on a few simple principles:

  • Direct communication. Clients talk to Andrew, not to a layer of staff filtering messages.
  • Transparency. Andrew explains what he is doing, why he is doing it, and what the realistic range of outcomes looks like. If a case is weak, the client hears that. If the law cuts against the case, the client hears that too.
  • Engaged clients. The best results come when clients are patient, transparent about the facts (including unflattering ones), and willing to engage with the process. Andrew’s best work happens with clients who treat the representation as a partnership rather than a delegation.
