Practice Areas
The Law Offices of Andrew Cargill is a solo law practice serving Pembroke Pines and the South Florida tri-county area — Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach Counties. The firm focuses on five practice areas, each handled directly by Andrew Cargill.
Family Law
Divorce (contested and uncontested), time-sharing schedules and parenting plans, paternity, and child support. Florida is a no-fault divorce state, and Andrew handles family law matters across the full range — from straightforward uncontested filings to contested cases that require mediation or a final hearing.
Civil Litigation
Contract disputes, business and corporate civil matters, and other civil claims in Florida state court. Andrew is also admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida Bar for federal civil matters that fall within the firm’s practice areas.
Real Estate
Residential purchase and sale transactions, deed preparation and recording, eviction proceedings, and landlord-tenant matters. The firm represents buyers, sellers, and landlords across the South Florida tri-county area.
Immigration
Naturalization (U.S. citizenship), family-based petitions, residency and green card matters, student and travel visas, and selected employment-based immigration matters. Andrew has been handling immigration matters in South Florida since 2006.
Unemployment Appeals
Telephonic appeals hearings before Florida appeals referees, with focused experience in misconduct, insubordination, and non-appearance cases. The firm represents both employers and claimants throughout the Florida Reemployment Assistance appeals process.
Doesn’t See Your Matter Here?
The firm intentionally focuses on a defined set of practice areas. When a matter falls outside those areas, Andrew often refers clients to attorneys whose practice fits the case. If you are not sure whether your matter is something the firm handles, the easiest way to find out is to call or send a message.
